It has been a very productive beginning to the New Year for us owing to our weekend-long training for our entire sales teams from both Lilongwe and Blantyre districts. This training was the first of its kind as in terms of comprehensiveness and the ultimate value provided to our sales team.
In the commercial city of Blantyre, the training took place at Malawi Sun Hotel from Saturday, January 15th, 2022 to Monday January 17th, 2022.
On Saturday the team was drilled in the areas of sales and customer service by Michael Khomani of Rayon agencies, creating a training experience that can only be described, according to the feedback from our sales team, as unparalleled.
“This is to help us better serve our customers as we are trying to take a customer-centric approach. We want our services to be competitive even by international standard,” says one of the employees, Wezi Chirwa who works as a Sales and Marketing Executive.
The employees were also taken through first aid training including health and safety by Fred Demster of St John Council, an internationally recognized body. The training imparted both a theoretical understanding and hands on practical applications in which our team took turns role-playing various scenarios.
The training concluded with an aptitude test and all participants were successfully certified as qualified first aiders.
